We were just going through some old papers and found the lyrics to a song Makenzie Carisse wrote when she was 8 back in 2006.

It's the first day of a brand new year and that's what I want to do today, enjoy every bit of life that God has given me. I'm glad I get to do that with the talented peeps that God has put in my life.
