You’ve never seen a pig fly, but you’ve no doubt heard a lot about swine flu, or A(H1N1). At the moment, there is a lot of fear surrounding this new strain of the flu virus due to the unknowns and the vast amount of media attention that’s been given.
At TCC, we are also watching the news and keeping up with the latest developments. We are concerned about the safety of each and every person in our area. However, we are doing so with trust in God’s protection. 3 John 1:2 reminds us that physical health is important, and spiritual health is even more important. My personal prayer is that God would use this situation to draw us closer to Him.
The Hays School District remains open, which means that we will be gathering for our regularly scheduled services on Sunday at the PAC at 9:00 and 10:30am.
I want to assure everyone that, as usual, we will provide a clean and safe environment for everyone in attendance, taking extra precautions in our nursery and children’s areas.
In the meantime, in order to stay healthy, let me encourage you to follow these simple steps provided by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention:
