When Pam and I look back over the years at The Connection Church, we are overwhelmed by God's faithfulness. What started as a vision to reach people with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ has become a church family where thousands of lives have been impacted, families have been restored, and people have found hope and purpose in Christ.
And we believe God is just getting started!
Throughout our history, one thing has stayed the same: Our mission to connect people to Jesus and help them take their next step with Him. Buildings and locations may change, but our mission never will.
That's what Rooted & Rising is all about.
We are rooted in God's Word, rooted in our faith, and rooted in Hays County. Now, we believe God is calling us to rise to the next challenge, preparing a permanent home for The Connection Church in Buda that will allow us to reach more people, disciple more families, and impact our community for generations to come.
This is about so much more than building a building. It's about making space for people who haven't yet walked through our doors. It's about children who will grow up knowing Jesus, students who will discover God's purpose for their lives, marriages that will be strengthened, and lives that will be changed for eternity.
We're building today for the people we'll reach tomorrow.
Rooted & Rising is an opportunity for each of us to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. We're asking our church family to prayerfully consider what God would have each of us give, over and above our regular tithes and offerings, to help make this vision a reality. We believe that when God's people come together in faith, generosity, and obedience, extraordinary things can happen.
Our first step is prayer. Before we make commitments, we want to seek God's heart and listen for His direction. We invite you to join us for 21 Days of Prayer, November 1–21, as we prepare for Commitment Sunday on November 22, 2026.
Pam and I love this church family, and we couldn't be more excited about what is ahead. We're grateful for everyone who has helped bring us to this moment, and we're trusting God for all that is still to come.
Our roots are deep. Our faith is strong. And our future is bright because God is faithful!
Let's keep growing together, reaching people together, and building a legacy that will outlive us all.
