Day 5

Feb 20, 2026

Read:

Jeremiah 29:10-11

Dig Deeper:

The ultimate question when it comes to relationships seems to be–will this all work-out okay? Or maybe even, will I be okay? Although I can’t predict the future, I do know this–”...in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

As we align our hearts with the heart of God (i.e. living according to the principles He’s given us in his word and living every day available to the Holy Spirit), we will experience a life of blessing. Now, this doesn’t mean that everything will be perfect or pain-free, but it does mean that He’ll be taking everything that happens to us and using it to write a beautiful AND GOOD story.

So, will you find someone to marry? Statistics say, most likely yes. If you’re in a relationship, will everything work out? According to Romans 8:28, if you’re pursuing God’s will, everything will work out exactly as it should whether you stay together or not.

That’s great news. In fact, that’s probably the best news of all! Whatever happens, you can’t lose! It’s a win all the way around because God is working out every detail for good.

Relationships were meant to shape us, not break us. And with God on our side, that’s exactly what will happen. So, swipe left on doing relationships without God in the mix, and swipe right on life with God at the middle of your love story.

Declaration: Say this next statement out loud as a declaration of what you have learned today.

God has a good plan for my life and relationships. I will put Him at the center of everything that I do.

Pray:

God, I trust you with my relationships because I know you have a good plan for me. You’ve always been faithful even when I haven’t understood what you are doing. Help me to put you first even when it feels hard and give me wisdom within my relationships. I choose you first. Amen.
